Come and enjoy the best ecolodges in the Central Andes of Colombia to bird photography in the region where coffee is born for the world, the Coffe region.

The central Andes, are part of this charming route, with starting by the city of Pereira, to begin we select the best restaurants in the city to enjoy wonderful gastronomy in the best farms over 130 years old.

After this visit, we headed to the most colorful charming villages in the country, which served as inspiration for the Disney movie Charm. Next, we will visit an Ecolodge immersed in the nature of the coffee region, which is among the best ecological lodges in the country, a transforming stay.

Then we will go to a reserve to look for species like Red-Ruffed Fruitcrow and Blue-and-Black Tanager, places that have understood the importance of preserving a forest to protect species of birds like species such as these.

The next day we head to another old and traditional coffee farm, more than 100 years old, where we will learn the secrets of why Colombia produces the best coffee in the world.

After understanding our coffee shop history, we will start climbing the mountains to get to the town of manizales to a New lodge immersed in the best bird hotspot closest to the city centre.

From the urban to the rural, to enjoy an incomparable place, a luxury glamping on the top of a mountain overlooking the snowy volcano Ruiz, a unique peak, where a couple of Andes condors live in their nest.

And to conclude, a unique adventure awaits us in the central Andes mountain range, where we will be able to photograph species like the Gray-breasted Mountain-Toucan, a wide variety of antpittas, and hummingbirds, like the Sword-billed Hummingbird, the Shining hummingbird, Sunbeam with its shiny back.

Ending in the Paramo ecosystem above 3,500 msnm to search for high mountain tanagers like Scarlet-bellied Mountain-tanager, Lachymose Mountain-tenager and hummingbirds; like the Rainbow-bearded Thornbill and one of the most special endemic the Buffi Helmetcrest, with the opportunity to have nights of connection and relaxation in the natural thermal waters that sprinkle from the ground for you.
