Colombian Coffee: denomination of origin granted to coffee 100% produced in the coffee growing regions of Colombia.
On this tour you will, photograph the birds in the best places specialized in bird photography and enjoy the variety of scents and cups of coffee.
The good coffee is part of our route, which begins in the western Andes in the city of Cali, recognised as the world capital of salsa music, to begin we select the best restaurants of the city to enjoy its wonderful gastronomy, we will visit a typical market square where we will find an extraordinary variety of tropical fruits, exotic flavors and variety of colors.
In the evening we will be visiting the best place of salsa dance in the city, after these experiences, loaded with intense colors, scents and flavors, our next destination the mountain, we will visit the best places to photograph endemic species such as Multicolored Tanager, Chestnut Wood-Quail, accompanied by a variety of tanagers and hummingbirds, then, visit a forest of the Biogeographical Choco to photograph the Toucan Barbet and the incredible Andean Cock-of-the-rock.
Then we will travel through the Cauca valley River to reach a reserve where we will be able to photograph the Velvet-purple Coronet, the Club-winged Manakin with its incredible sound of wings, accompanied by new species of tanagers and hummingbirds and we will also enjoy a night of photography of Herping accompanied by a specialist guide.
We will continue towards the central mountain range of the Andes to reach the best lodges in the area, where we will be able to photograph species like the Gray-breasted Mountain-Toucan, a wide variety of antpittas, and hummingbirds like the Sword-billed Hummingbird, the hummingbird Shining Sunbeam with its shiny back, we will climb to the Paramo ecosystem above the 3.500 msnm to look for high mountain tanagers such as Scarlet-bellied Mountain-tanager, Lachymose Mountain-tanager and hummingbirds such as the Rainbow-bearded Thornbill and one of the most special endemic the Buffi Helcrest, and you may also have the opportunity to experience a bath in thermal and very hot natural waters that sprinkle from the ground, as a relaxing therapy.
